Laura Fielding
Laura is currently working in the AXIO Proficiency Testing chemistry team in Bury UK as a Technical Manager. Laura’s current work involves overseeing the production, reporting and development of a wide variety of AXIO PT schemes including QFCS and QDCS. Laura is also involved in audits, advisory group meetings, and provide guidance on technical queries from customers.
Laura has been in the LGC Proficiency Testing chemistry team for 6 years; starting in 2016 as a chemist where she made and evaluated proficiency testing samples in the laboratory. Subsequently, Laura spent some time as part of the development team where she helped to create, and develop existing, samples and schemes for AXIO Proficiency Testing before moving into her current role. Laura’s progression through the business has provided her with a broad understanding of the work undertaken at AXIO Proficiency Testing, from how to produce a completely homogenous samples to reviewing participant data and managing schemes.
